FULL DRESS AND SERVICE SWORDS

With 23 inch single edged blade bearing a Solingen "Crowned head" manufacturers' mark. It has a brass single bar guard leading to an embossed shell guard bearing a floral design, and a Stags' horn grip. The brass pommel is embossed with two heads and two Winged cherubs' heads. These hunting swords were often carried by Military and Naval Officers'. The blade is heavily pitted otherwise Sound. RARE. £250.00 (Pounds sterling)

With a 35 inch etched blade manufactured by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London (Serial No.46544). The blade is etched with the George V Cypher and Coat of Arms; Floral design. It has a Three Bar Hilt and wire bound black fish skin grip and is complete in a Sam Browne Scabbard. Good. £275.00 (Pounds sterling)

With a 32 inch blade etched with Queen Victoria's Cypher, "1^st WEST YORKSHIRE RIFLES", and a Victorian Crowned Light Infantry Bugle. The sword was retailed by Macklin & Co, 14 Clifford Street, Bond Street, London. It has a three Bar guard bearing the Victorian Crowned Light Infantry Bugle and has a wire bound black fish skin grip. Complete in a nickel plated scabbard. Overall patina of age otherwise Sound. £245.00 (Pounds sterling)

With a 32 inch "Lev¾ e" blade etched with Queen Victoria's Cypher, "5th WEST MIDDLESEX RIFLES", and a Victorian Crowned Light Infantry Bugle. It has a three Bar guard bearing the Victorian Crowned Light Infantry Bugle and has a wire bound black fish skin grip. Complete in a two ring nickel plated scabbard. The blade has an overall patina of age and the etching is weak otherwise the sword has been refurbished. Sound. £245.00 (Pounds sterling)
