WW/BCB-B Steel pommel and cross guard with 465mm straight single fullered single edged blade, chequered leather grips held by two steel rivets and washer. Leaf spring catch, pommel without oil hole. Complete in steel mounted black leather scabbard. This bayonet was designed for use with the .402 Enfild-Martini rifle, and converted in 1891 for use with the Mk.IV Martini-Henry 'long lever' rifle. Riccaso marked 'W Broad-Arrow D', one side and /86,
C'87 on the other. Enfild inspectir marked. Condition: good or better. Needs further careful cleaning.
