Complete with Director of Naval Accounts Box of Issue addressed to Mrs B M Snell of 76 Chantry Road, Blackhurst, Gosport, Hampshire, together with an Admiralty Medal Issue Condolence letter named to Arthur (Henry) Hearn.
Arthur Henry Hearn was born on 6th November, 1917 in Southampton. He married Beatrice M Feltham in Portsmouth during 1939.
P/JX 139323 AB Arthur H Hearn DIED whilst on Active Service on 14th November, 1939 whilst serving on board the J Class
Destroyer HMS Janus. He is buried in the Grimsby (Scartho Road) Cemetery, Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
(His wife, Beatrice, married William R Snell during 1942.)
